Credits / Experience
Winner of Short Cuts Film festival 2008 with a short documentary on the oil depot explosions which rocked Hemel Hempstead in 2005.

Dacorum Excellence Awards October 2008.

Buncefield oil depot footage played on Discovery Channel 2009.

Snowy - a Brush with the EDL - I was director/producer on this film. The documentary focuses on one man from a controversial far right group in England which has been causing all kinds of trouble across England. I got exclusive access to this group and our findings were subject to debate on a number of blogs.

Presencia Viva - Living Presence. I was camera operator on this documentary which followed six women in Chile. The women returned to an abandoned theatre in which they were all tortured under Augustus Pinochet's dictatorship between 1970-1980.

My Side of School - I was camera operator on the fund raising trailer for this documentary shot in Bosnia. The documentary is about Bosnian and Croatian teenagers, growing up in a town which uses politics to keep them apart.

Congo: Blood, gold and mobile phones - a documentary which I shot in East Democratic of Congo with journalist Diane Taylor. A film of our findings was recently published on the Guardian website.

I am currently in contact with the BBC about making this into a feature length documentary for T.V.

I am currently collaborating on a documentary with Palestinian director Awatif Lutfi Jadele called "A hero dies on the first page". The film follows a Syrian activist living in exile in London who dreams of flying back to a "free Syria"
Skills
I have a hunger & passion for story telling, social issues and politics. My studies over the last five years have focused extensively on visual literacy. I have worked as camera operator for the past four years. I have skills in editing and a passion for photography. I like to try and direct and produce two documentaries a year but this of course depends on the nature of the story.
