- Since graduating in television production I have gained practical experience in a variety of short-term television roles, mainly as a runner, researcher or as production support. My strengths include office support and I have had several roles in administration, however my goal is to obtain more long-term contracts either on the research side of television production or in coordinating. The music part of my degree makes me ideally suited to music programming but my interests fall in general entertainment and factual programming.
I am currently working as Production Secretary for Shiver, the factual department at ITV.

Big Brother: I did some street casting where my role was to find particular people who fit the brief I was given.
Talkback Thames - Audition Runner
BGT: My role was to escort contestants to the appropriate audition rooms & make sure the day ran smoothly.
12 Yard Productions - Production Secretary
Christmas Coach Trip: Responsibilities included coordinating foreign and UK travel/accommodation. I have organised hire cars, insurances and green cards. I have used the iBusiness system to raise PO’s and pay suppliers. I have worked to a budget where I have then had to reconcile expenses, petty cash and credit cards.
Pidgin Productions - Production/Research Assistant
Responsibilities included organising locations, crew, release forms, call sheets, coordinating runners plus more. I’ve researched archive footage & photographs and setup interviews with contributors; I’ve also shot GV’s on a Z1. I’ve coordinated a music event dealing with venue hire, refreshments, tickets, press releases, and other PR aspects.
Renegade Pictures – Location Runner/Driver
Don’t Tell The Bride: Responsibilities involved conveying messages, looking after cast and crew, driving, delivering equipment, and attending to specific requests from the PD, DV Director and Assistant Producers. I completed tasks assigned to me as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
SDMC Productions - Runner/Driver
Working as a Runner on a gritty television drama based in Manchester called ‘The Endz’ due to be broadcast on Sky’s My Channel (219) from Sept 21st. Helping out in all areas including with tape logs and recording sound on a Zoom Handy Recorder.
RDF Television West - Runner
For Dickinson’s Real Deal in Derby & Tatton Park helping out on the front desk, welcoming members of the public to the event where I had to explain the procedure and show them where to go. I assisted crew and was responsible for making sure contributors and researchers were comfortable and refreshed throughout the day.
Title Role Productions - Production Office Assistant
Tasks included tape logging and transcribing interviews for the second series of ‘Britain’s Biggest Heists’. Accompanying Location Researcher on recces and assisting at castings.
Nine Lives Media - Production Office Assistant
Tasks included tape logging and transcribing interviews for a number of documentaries, attending and contributing at creative meetings, researching locations and travel information and other ad hoc duties.
Cohiba Productions - Production Assistant
I assisted on a variety of tasks working on a filming project funded by the Heritage Lottery. This was a period/costume drama working with schoolchildren on reconstructing the story of Kitty Wilkinson.
Dollar Factory Films - Runner
I assisted on a feature-length film which had support from North West Vision and Media. Working with the make-up/costume and props department as I had knowledge of the area so could quickly pick up/drop items at locations.
Pink Lint Films - Production Manager (short film)
Read through scripts, researched film locations & prepared a production file to suit. I dealt with release forms, risk assessments and other pre-production aspects.
Kurdish Creative Film Centre - Festival Researcher
I researched & prepared press kit for submission to film festivals around the UK and Internationally.
Scarlet Television - Camera Assistant
I assisted my University Lecturer, Cameraman Mick Farr whilst he was undertaking some filming at on a Crime Documentary.
BBC Manchester - Location Runner
I worked on the BBC’s ‘Street Doctor’ as a Location Runner. Tasks included directing the crew and production team to different locations around Chester and being on-hand when I was needed.
