I was lucky enough to get a traineeship 6 months out of uni, and have worked my way up over the last 9 years, gaining a staff position as a full-time senior technical operator in tv broadcasting.

I currently work mainly as a craft editor in regional & national news but am also skilled in lots of other areas including cameras, lighting, sound and graphics. I've also worked as a video journalist, producing, shooting & editing pieces for regional news. As well as making short dramatic & motion photography films in my spare time. My ambition is to progress to producing and directing factual programs full time. And continue creating dramatic shorts and eventually features.
