I have been working as a freelance runner since graduating from The University of Leeds with a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Television Production in July 2011. I have acted as a runner in a variety of different environments, from office to post-production house to studio. Notable productions that I have worked on include quiz shows Wall of Fame and A League of their Own, documentaries Sun, Sea and A&E and Coroners, adverts for Marks and Spencer, Max Factor, and most recently the Adidas 2012 Olympics print campaign. I am available immediately.
Working in a variety of environments has equipped me with many varied transferable skills, including production paperwork, handling petty cash, operating a professional coffee machine a good knowledge of the Central London area and acting as follow spotlight operator for a catwalk shoot, as well as the more basic client hospitality skills including organising meals and drinks for a production crew of 60.
I have an excellent level of written English, and strong typing skills. I consider myself very computer literate, and am always willing to learn new things. I am friendly and polite, and enjoy meeting new people. I am very organised, and have a lot of experience in working to strict deadlines. I have been told on many occasions that I am excellent at finding the balance of being very helpful and attentive without being overbearing or getting in the way.
