- I'm a visual artist who has been working professionally in film and media for six years as both a Director and Editor. After graduating from the Northern Film School in 2005 I worked on a range of TV commercials, documentaries, music videos, live events and broadcast drama serials. These projects have taken me all over Europe, Australasia and to the Middle East.

Alongside Little Northern Light, she was a founding member of Left Eye Blind, the collective partnership of three directors who formed in 2008. Aurora departed the collective in 2011. While in partnership the collective shot over 20 music videos and gained industry recognition, signing to Academy Films in 2009 for representation and received a prize at the 2010 Northern Futures Awards. Last year they pitched and won the EPIC award from Leeds Met to finance their short film, “Life on the Line”. The short made by Left Eye Blind will be released in 2011.

My collaborative dance work specifically with Jenni Wren has progressed over the years, earning me the title of Associate Artist at Slanjayvah Danza. With previous successful projects such as "Blind Passion" - Raw Cut and The SangerWren Chronicles and recently Crazy Joanna. The narrative integrated dance/film Crazy Joanna was further validated when section of the film was selected and screened for last years Underwire Film Festival in the editing category.

- One of 8 international winners for the Nokia Shorts pitch contest, "Daniel" has just been released. Filmed exclusively on the Nokia N8 phone it was premièred at the Edinburgh Film Festival.

First feature film project “Live Art” has been green lit for development funding with Northern Film and Media. She'll be working with writer Charly Conquest of ‘Northern Upstart’ and producer Loran Dunn 'Blue Robot Films’ and the legendary Alby James.
Further Editing accolade included winning the region European, African and Middle Eastern prize for her entry to the Getty Images MISHMASH competition.

Please help get our online pitches into the final ten so we can pitch at Pinewood, with the chance of £25k funding and a trip out to Los Angeles with the finished film. What a prize and we are already in the longlist of 40 selected.
