Job title: Verve Pictures Trainee

Working Hours: 5 days a week 10am-6pm with 1 hour lunch break

Contract: Permanent entry level position

Based in: Soho, London


PURPOSE OF POST

To work across all areas of Verve’s activities, with responsibilities in theatrical, home entertainment, online marketing, publicity and office management. To support the current work of Verve, assisting with the release of each film both into theatres and onto home entertainment platforms.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Responsibilities:

* Manage our online marketplace accounts, to include sales and distribution to customers and all site maintenance.

*To assist with all social media for the company and contribute with content. Plan and carry out direct marketing activities through social media.
*Assisting with financial administration – liaising with debtors and creditors
*Assisting with meeting deadlines for DVD production and VOD content
*Monitor and report on our product in retailers and online.
*Compiling and gathering box office data.
*Distribution of marketing materials, such as trailers and posters, to relevant cinemas
*Maintaining the upkeep of client press books
*Distribution of film screeners to relevant press contacts
*Maintain and develop database of film societies and dispatch of films for relevant screenings.
*Log, dispatch and delivery of film materials around Soho
*To support the maintenance of the Verve Pictures website
*To respond to enquiries and requests for information
*Maintaining a tidy office and upkeep.
*To work in a flexible manner and be willing to undertake other duties as reasonably requested.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Excellent IT skills, and computer literacy with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

In-depth knowledge and ability to use all online social media.

Reliable, enthusiastic, and keen to learn, as well as being able to use their own initative.

Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work as part of a team
